Australia Cruise - Burnie, Tasmania & Melbourne First Visits Jan. 2020

Visited Burnie, Tasmania and Melbourne, Victoria, each for a day the first week in January. Re-visited these cities in our second (back to back) cruise. (See gallery to follow, later.)

Queenscliff High & Low with Murray & Hume towers & unknown structure		 Last in lighthouse parade was Pt Lonsdale. Goodbye Port Phillip bay. Going to Sydney now.
Last in lighthouse parade was Pt Lonsdale. Goodbye Port Phillip bay. Going to Sydney now. 		But the show wasn't over. Local pilot boat had hard time pulling up to Regatta because of swells. Took half an hour.

Never realized 3 people went out in a local pilot boat to pick up their pilot.		 Finally got next to Regatta & helper went out, hooked to boat, to assist in getting pilot back on board safely.

Pilot climbed down ladder & hooked himself to rail. Neighbor used to do this work, so very interesting to see it up close.
