A Day in Portimao, PT (Algarve)

The next day we stopped in Portimao in the Algarve, where one of Howard's cousins lives. We were planning to rent a car and drive to the east to see her and then to the west, looking at natural sites and lighthouses. But Yvette & Chris offered to drive us around in the Lagos area, and I decided to ditch the car idea and just settle for some time with them.

We took a shuttle to the Largo do Dique area of Portimao, then short taxi ride to Portimao's small train station	Portimao train station had a cigarette machine	Yvette & Chris took us to their home & then drove us around the Lagos area	The Algarve is known for cliffs, caves and rock formations	The arch at a Lagos beach - beautiful!	Just one of many Algarve beaches - sand, sun, rocks, caves. And Lagos has places to eat, shop & enjoy life without big crowds.
