White-tailed Doe & Fawn

With the frigid temperatures this winter the deer have spent more and more time in our yard dining on our shrubs, trees and bird seed. I don't have the heart to chase them off as the weather has been so brutal and I think they struggle every day just to survive. I like to think that we help boost their caloric intake so that they can survive another day.

These all were shot through the double-paned glass door. When the deer are looking right at me it is because my three dogs are barking furiously at them. They apparently have become accustomed to the barking and do not spook easily.

Love the golden light as reflected on these two beautiful creatures. They have a tough time when winters are bad, so glad you let these two munch away. V

One thing you can do, get some dry corn at
a local farm coop and give it to them. I do this
for ducks angd geese + they make nice subject for photo
