Resident White-tailed Deer

Odocoileus virginianus

This doe and fawn are two of a herd of eight deer that we see regularly here.
The sun had already set so I struggled with my settings.
In spite of my trying to hide from them it is obvious that the doe is very aware of me.

Nikon D300 ,Nikon 70 - 200 mm VR with 1.4X teleconverter
