Wheel Bug Nymphs

Arilus cristatus

I found these two on bee balm in our yard one night. They stayed at the same spot for two nights in a row then moved on. The adults are formidable predators of other insects.

Ohhh, wonderful! I have not seen the nymphs of these bugs yet, and have only seen one adult. This is such a terrific shot! The colours are amazing. V
