Carolina Leaf-roller

Camptonotus carolinensis

This appears to be a Carolina Leaf-roller (Camptonotus carolinensis), the only representative of the Raspy Cricket family, Gryllacrididae. Raspy Crickets are more closely related to Katydids, Jerusalem Crickets, and Wetas than to True Crickets. This is a male.

Thanks to Chad Lensbower for this information!
