The 11th or 13th ranked (depending on which poll you use)Kansas University Jayhawks were in town Friday night to play the 19th (or 17th) ranked USF Bulls. It was an exciting game of two half's, the first dominated by Kansas which built a 20-3 lead. USF scored late in the first half to cut the lead to 20-10. The second half was mostly owned by the Bulls who managed to run off run off 31 straight points to go up by 14. Kansas came back alive in the last six minutes and managed to tie the game. With forty second left the Bulls intercepted the Kansas QB and ran it back thirty yards to set up the game winning field goal (by a freshman kicker in his first game no less) as time ran out for a hard fought 37-34 victory for the 19th ranked Bulls over the 11th ranked Jayhawks.
