As I was waiting for my ride back home from Gore Park after the Remembrance Day ceremony, I noticed Ed Mahoney walking slowly with his cane trying to cross the street along King. I took the liberty of documenting his way as he tries to get back home after watching his former brothers in arms parade around in uniform.
As he get near me, I called his attention and asked if I could take his photo. He told me he served during the second World War and was assigned for five years in Europe. "I used to be very strong when I was young and never had difficulties, but I never get little drops of rain put me down", he said.
