I really don't know Russ. The exposure was about 20 seconds, I used a tripod & camera timer. I was looking out to the scenery & the couple hoping they will not move. The lady moved a bit thought, laying her head on the guy's shoulder. Anyway, I am really lost how this image came about.

Ok one more thought to add to this.....The reflection may have been caused by the passing car (didn't notice the headlights at first), that's why the image looks very well defined. The headlihts hit your lens and reflected the couple.......Can you tell I'm a huge skeptic yet?? :)

It's more intriguing to think it's ghosts tho...Neat!

Looks like a reflection of the couple above, probably on one of the outer elements of your lens. Of course that section of the Mountain access has seen a couple of accidents :)
