It looks like a visible gas pump used along time ago. My guess is about 25 to 29 cents per gallon. You could still get gas for about 30 to 35 cents per gallon in the early 1970's before the first oil embargo that happened in late 1973 to early 1974.

Retro fun! And how much do you suppose the gas was in the reflected pump in the mirror?? Surely not four bucks a gallon! Nice shot!
