I have lived beside Mr. Howard now for almost 3 years and just recently got to know him. A really great neighbor, and sorry I haven't got to know him sooner. The birding is such a fascinating passion and I never realized there were SOOOOOOO many species of birds. These are some magnificent pictures by the way Mr. Howard, you definitely have an amazing and unique skill with your pursuit of the birds and your photography in all. You definitely amaze me with your knowledge of birds and looking at your collection here is just amazing! You also have given me some stunning pictures for my computer background, these pictures are beautiful!!! Thanks again for sharing your passion and hope to talk more about it.

Ron, this is Marque Mealing and i have looked at your collection of bird shots. It is amazing how many different birds they are here in this sourounding area. It was good meeting you again and keep up the good work on exercising and taking good pictures though i now it is something you really like doing.

Your picture of the Red-bellied Woodpecker Anting is wonderful.
I teach a birdwatching course at the local nature center. It is not for profit, I am a volunteer. I just do it to introduce people to a fun thing to do.

I like to talk about what birds DO, in addittion to identification, etc. Anting is an interesting behavior and yours one of very few pix out there.

I would like to request permision to show in my course [1-3 times a year].
