This week's challenge is..."Giving thanks". I owe so many things to my father, not least a love of photography.
This is yours truly, aged 3. Daddy made the toy camera - because I wanted to be just like him !

It was a piece of wood painted black, the "lens" was a bottle top, and there was a shutter release and dial on the top. The lens and dial both moved, so I was able to pretend to focus and change settings, but I remember being disappointed that the shutter release didn't actually do anything... I desperately wanted it to go click !
