It was going to be a quiet day today... but we bought ourselves a new TV yesterday and have spent a good 4 hours setting it up, plus a new set-top box and home cinema system. Technology is great, but don't you wish sometimes you could just buy something, plug it in, and that's it ? But I DO wish someone would invent a true wireless connection though ! We've added another mile or so of spaghetti cabling to the house (sigh!)

Throughout it all however, the lilies we also bought yesterday blossomed in the sunshine and brightened the room.
