Got up this morning, looked at the blue sky and decided to drive down to Hastings to buy some fish off the beach. Once we got there we discovered the Hastings half-marathon was running and we couldn't leave the car park for another 3 hours... so after we'd bought the fish we watched the runners for a bit, had lunch in a pub, then strolled through the back lanes, had a cup of coffee, went up the funicular to the top of West Cliffe, strolled around the top of the cliff, walked back down, and wandered back to the car for a leisurely drive home.
One of those completely unplanned days that turn out to be special :-)
