Sidewalk stone art

A creative art form which makes for very interesting sidewalks in the Azores. The process is very difficult as each piece of native volcanic stone has to be shaped and placed properly.

I also saw this in Lisboa and Sintra. Same culture I guess. It is an excellent way to make the streets worthy of cleanliness!
