Founded in 1290, Coimbra university is one of the oldest universities in Europe. This city is alive with color, youth, enthusiasm and the endless narrow streets and footpaths for wandering and thinking how fortunate are those who study and live here.

Roland , this is an amazing gallery of images, so overlooked by pbasers including myself.
You photography is excellent , good compositions,nice choice of light and nice sharp images .
You delivered the Portugal scenes with a good eye .

Bonita colecção de imagens de Coimbra.Durante um ano aí vivi, frequentando a velha Universidade , vindo do Porto e para lá voltando para a também velha Universidade do Porto.
Muito boas fotos, assuntos muito bem ewcolhidos

Coimbra and Porto are next on our list, when we return to lovely Portugal. A very nice collection of images here - they just strengthen my resolve to go back again!
