The Cashew is a tree that finds its origin in Brazil but is now cultivated all over the world where they have a tropical climate for its edible seeds. On the Seychelles they are now an invasive pest as the seeds are spread by the native fruit bats and germinate all over the islands giving the native species a competitor.
