The Mistletoe and Bastard toadflax

Both plants have a parasitic habit. This is well known and visible with the Mistletoe as it grows inside it's host tree. But underground the Bastard Toadflax does the same as it's roots penetrate those of bedstraws and steal their water and nutrients.
