Lichens are not really plants as they are a fungus growing together with an algae. But since they are partially plants and highly interesting organisms, they deserve a place here.
A book about the Dutch Lichens whritten by Kok van Herk and André Aptroot (Veldgids kortsmossen ISBN 9050111750)covers all the 700 native species.
It is an essential work as mistakes are easily made when species are named with less substantial material.
