Pleurothallis cypripedioides Luer, Selbyana 1: 70 (1975).
This plant currently is placed into the genus stelis as a result of molecular studies.
Stelis cypripedioides (Luer) Pridgeon & M.W.Chase, Lindleyana 16: 262 (2001).
However the genus Stelis is quite different from this plant and therefore the current fashion is to remain the name Pleurothalis untill further studies have been done. (Currently in the process of doing)
Plant cultivated at the Wubben Orchid nurserie.
