It was exciting to see a mother Humpback and it’s calf. I also was hoping but didn’t see a
breaching when most or all of the whale's body leaves the water. While many other
whale species breach, Humpback whales apparently breach more frequently
using their powerful fluke to launch their 35-ton bodies.
