The Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean meet here in the Straits. The Mons Abyla, one of the two Pillars of Hercules,
can be seen in the distance on the African coast.
The Rock of Gibraltar, from which this shot is taken, is the other Pillar of Hercules (Calpe Mons).
