As a painter I am always trying to look at photos that have the similar effect of a painting...

I call the photographic effect 'light painting'...using the colours of the background and foreground enhanced by use of lens DOF and bokeh to create in effect a 'Photographic Painting"

In all of these photos there is NO PHOTOSHOP manipulations other than slight adjustments to contrast and colour...the focus, the effect is all performed within the digital camera...
