  tirex titan
the area around Sparwood, BC is known for its enormous

open pit coal mines. This truck which still claims to be

one of the largest in the world stands as a tourist point

of interest in the town. To my knowledge the truck was only

in use for a very short time before its short comings were

  discovered and it was retired!

  prairie beacons
once the sign of prosperous farming communities the grain elevators of the canadian prairies are quickly dissappearing. The Town of Nanton, Alberta has chosen to save theirs. Newly painted and looking for tenants these buildings are saving the history of the area

  southern canadian rocky mountains
On my way to a meeting in Sparwood, BC the snow clouds parted heading south on highway 22 in Southern Alberta and the snow clad mountains with a touch of sunlight exposed themselves in all their splendour!

  seawall walk
still PAD_ing my photos from Vancouver last week. You will be happy they are just about done. Originally from Vancouver I still have a great affinity for the damp, dark, moody environment.

  Have a great day/night everyone!
