Trapani-based F-104S-ASA-M MM6890/37-25 of 18° Gruppo pictured about to take-off from Gilze-Rijen. The Sicilian- based Starfighters of 37º Stormo were rare visitors in our region. In 2003, loaned F-16A-ADF's replaced the F-104 at Trapani. On its turn, the F-16 is replaced by the Eurofighter and the unit went to Gioia del Colle.
