Going through the older pictures of RAF aircraft, it's hard not to notice this air force lost almost all of their charming, local built beauties. The Hunting Jet Provost was one of them. A noisy little trainer. Not fast, but reliable. Some good export sales as well. Jet Provost T.3A XN595/82 served with 7FTS at Church-Fenton in 1989. 201 T.3's were built between 1958 en 1962. After retirement a few years later, XN595 went to the USA in 1995, where it still is.
