Both the single-engined G-91R and twin-engined G-91Y were used by the Italian Air Force (AMI) in the 1980's. 756 examples of various versions were built between 1958 and 1977. These were used by the Portuguese, German and Italian Air Force. G-91Y MM6958/8-65 of 101 Gruppo is seen at Volkel in 1988, carrying the original high visibility markings.
