One of the last Tomcats visiting Europe was this F-14B 161435/AA-103 of VF-103 'Jolly Rogers'. The original VF with that famous name was VF-84, but that unit was disestablished in October 1995. Heritage and name went to VF-103. 38 new F-14B's were built and 48 F-14A's were modified to B- standard. In 2005, this particular Tomcat was noted scrapped. Only some 35 F-14's survive today in musea, all of them being located in the USA.
