Around April 1990, 314 squadron at Gilze-Rijen replaced its first NF-5's by F-16's. To 'celebrate' this, NF-5A K-3062 (delivered to the KLu in June 1971) of the squadron wore a special red c/s between May and July. On April 12th, 1991, K-3062 went to the Hellenic AF where it served a few more years before final retirement. The special c/s was replaced by original grey, of course.
