One of the last active MiG-23MF's with 28PLM at Slupsk was the 117 (c/n 0390224117), pictured when taxying from the runway. Slupsk closed in 2000, but all remaining Floggers (8 MF's and 3 UB's) were retired in 1999. In the good old days, the unit flew with 42 MiG-23's, of which only 4 have crashed.
