Ladybugs, being cold-blooded insects, don’t hibernate but instead
enter a dormant state during winter. They cluster together in groups,
seeking shelter in cracks, crevices, and tree bark to stay safe from the
cold. I usually find them in my window seals during autumn. The unusually
warm weather right now might explain why I haven’t seen large groups yet.
