Hi Chung, The Canon sensor crop is 1.6 on the 30D so the 35mm equivalent would be 1.6 x 35mm=56mm.
All photos in this gallery shot with available light. All night shots were with tripod except the high ISO pad shots which I hand held (Hard to lean a tripod over the railing.). The 400mm launch pictures were hand held. The last 500 mm shot was on tripod.

35 mm on this shot is true 35 mm in Canon 30D? Or it is 1.3 X 35 = 45.5 mm? Are all these photos shot with available lignt and do you use tripod for the 400 mm shots?
