Thanks for your comments....I have digiscoped with a fixed length 20WX Leica eyepiece and a 32xW Leica eyepiece. I have not experimented with them yet with the DSLR.

Ilene, I like the photos taken with the DSLR much better than the digiscoped ones. That shouldn't surprise you, as you can see that are sharper, maintain better contrast... are just better photographically.

I dabbled in digiscoping with a CP4500 and Pentax pf80, and was disappointed with my results. This spring, maybe even this winter I'll try again... I had a Cp4500 that was unduly soft in its pictures, but swapped with another and it seems better... For your digiscoping, have you tried a fixed focal length eyepiece... The williams optics are very good and affordable. I'd much rather use a DSLR as I grew up with an SLR... Good shots...
