The Great Gathering of A4 Pacifics and other York photos

On 29 Oct 2013 I visited the National Railway Museum York to see the reunion of the 6 A4 Pacific Steam Locomotives held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Mallard setting a world record of 126mph. I still have my copy of Ian Allen's British Railway Locomotives 1960 price 10/6. I was 10. From this I find that I find that I had successively spotted 17 out of 34 A4s listed including Sir Nigel Gresley, Dominion of Canada and Mallard.
The following day I did a tour of some of the other museums and York Minster. I intend a further trip to York in order to produce a decent slideshow.
