Conad is a large grocery chain in Italy. It is similar to Safeway or other large grocery chains in the U.S.
Some aspects of the store are like Costco; one can buy large quantities or cases of items.

It reminds me of the upscale supermarkets in the UK. I just ate dinner, but the photos make me hungry!

Definitely a comprehensive look at a great resource. Something I ordinarily wouldn't see
and didn't think of at all when in Rome. Good food is definitely a priority there. Beautiful shots.

What a fun romp through the market, Italian style! I've never seen so many varieties of prociutto in my life. How many have you guys tried? I bet the meat is also of better quality than what we get here. Thanks for taking us there, Robin, with your customary excellent photography!
