Jody Chiang (Jiang Hui), known for her trademark ballads and folk songs and is often called The Queen of Taiwanese Pop performed her first concert at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 26 March 2011. Ms Chiang began recording in the 1980s and maintains an active career till today. Well-respected in the music industry, Jody Chiang holds two records- the first singer to hold a solo concert in the Taipei Arena performing in Taiwanese and the most number of concerts held at the venue by any artist. She has released more than 50 albums to-date and has many songs that made it to the top of the charts and won accolades.
