Wide concrete paths along the banks of Daedong River (Taedong River) provide an easy way to take in the landscape and see various landmarks. Along the 439 km (272 mi) long river, you can see many Neolithic and Bronze-age sites where kingdom Kuguryo was born. In Pyongyang you can view six bridges and various attractions like Kim II Sung Square, the library, and Koryo hotels. If you prefer to be on the river, have a meal on a boat that cruises while you eat, making the whole experience even greater.
