The Foreign Correspondents’ Club, Hong Kong, is unique. It is probably the most famous press club in the world, it is housed in a beautiful and historic Central location that provides a wealth of first-class yet cost-effective dining and recreational facilities, and it is an important media hub – providing a rare neutral platform for an impressive selection of local and international speakers. What’s more, the FCC is home to a variety of superb meeting venues, be they for press conferences, business gatherings, weddings... or just for drinks or dinner with friends.
Formed in China during the turbulent war-torn 1940s by a small group of foreign journalists who wanted a club house to meet, work and play, the FCC moved to Hong Kong from Shanghai in 1949 and has been at its current historic Ice House location since 1982.
