I spent 3 days in the fabulous city of Shanghai during the Expo. Held on both sides of Huangpu River of Shanghai China, Shanghai Expo has the largest number of countries participating and is the most expensive Expo in the history of the world's fairs. It is also the largest World's Fair site ever at 5.28 square km. Over 70 million visitors visited the expo.

The Huangpu River cruise at night is one of those memorable things and I did it on a cold and windy night in late October. It was well worth it though as the breathtaking sight of the old Shanghai Bund and new Financial District on each side of the bank showcasing architecture styles of different era made the RMB100 fee a bargain.
