Here is a series of 3 shots taken to show the difference the new flash makes ...
The first on the left is just the camera flash
in the middle is the New flash with the umbrella to the left of the camera and you'll notice a fairly heavy shadow to the right of the bear and between the bears legs. Yet the third shot allot of the shadow to the right has been diminished due to the reflector just to the right of the camera...
None of the photos have been retouched at all just cropped and placed together...
One thing that you will not be able to see from this series is that there is a much high level of detail that is picked up on the bear due to the additional light from the flash... (ie the bears fur in the middle and right shots are much clearer and more detailed than the shot on the left with just the cameras on board flash. Also no changes were made to the Sigma flash between the second and third shot...
