Lived in Norwich for 3 years until 2000. Beautiful pictures of a really beautiful little city . Really brought back some good memories. Have not been back for the last 10 years. Would love to go back and visit with my kids.

I went to school in Norwich from the age of 14 and left for London aged 24. Now 53 I've had no reason to visit since my perants moved away 20 years ago. Your photos bring back many memories of happy days and have given me a reason to treat myself to a weekend away. Thank you.

It was so wonderfull to see the lovely pictures of Norwich, have been living in Australia for a year and it is amasing how much me and my family miss Norwich so it is so nice to see these pictures to remind us of the butifull places Norwich has and how we miss it so much, you don't know what you have untill you loose it. So glad I found this site. I was privileged to visit several times when my friends lived in Norwich. They moved to Spain a couple of years ago and so I will probably not be able to return. I am an American who can trace my ancestors to Glemsford to Essex to Barbados and then to America. I have no desire to visit Spain as my heart is in England. These photos are excellent and bring back so many fond memories. I could not believe there is one of Coles Mustard Shop. I purchased a jar of mustard for my sister while there and she loved it. In fact, she just ordered one online. Now, she is able to see the store.

Over 70 years ago I lived in Norwich ( Earlham Rd ) & went to school ( now Norwich school ) there . Beautiful picture which are now the only way I can re visit as I live in USA now ( for 55 years ) I also went to school in Thetford & when I tell people here I went to schools where Lord Nelson & Thomas Paine went , I am met with disbelief .

thanks for the view of norwich. I was there 1945 with usaaf ,8th air force . i like to keep in touch . it's good to remember. wish i could return one day.A very good place, had a friend over there. Will always remember such a good place. Love your show . Lugoff ,S.C. U.S.A.

Some excellent shots here. As I lived in Thorpe Hamlet for almost 30 years there are some great shots to be had around Lion Wood, Rosary Cemetary and Mousehold. You have inspired me to look again at familiar sites when I return in the summer.

Bob... Would you be able to post pictures of Elm Hill (or is it Elm Tree Hill)? - that's where I had my apartment before moving on-campus. I can't remember the exact place, but it was a georgous and very private residential enclave - I remember that there was a bookstore opposite the entrance to this enclave. Thanks in advance..... Gul

Hello Bob..... small world innit...? I lived and did post-grad work at UEA in 1985. In fact I lived in the UK (Lancashire, Yorkshore, London) for almost 10 years. Seeing Norwich again brings back old memories. Thanks for visiting my galleries - I've been revamping them, and putting up new pics for the past few weeks that I've lapsed in some places regarding their name tags. They've now been updated.
