I passed through Shasta National Park as I was moving back to my home state of Washington from Kansa in October 2007. I'd been in Kansas for nearly 3 years and I missed the northwest beauty so much. When I arrived at Lake Shasta, I was so grateful to see the blue waters, Mt. Lassen and the overall sensational beauty of the park. It brought back childhood memories of visiting Lake Shasta with my family. I particularly remember my father pointing out various features of the area. Since he died a few years ago, it was an especially poignant moment for me to see the park again. Thank you so much for posting these lovely photos. I definitely plan to return to Lake Shasta on a vacation soon!

i just got back from lake shasta. I went with my youth group at church ad stayed in a houseboat. I enjoyed it so much when i got back home i as bummed out. Your pictures really made me relive the true beauty i experienced there. I even played in the mud! Love the photos keep it up! Ashley.

I just returned to work after spending four days on a houseboat on the lake. I was desperately trying to hold on to a bit of it and searched the web for a shot of the lake that I could use as a desktop image. I looked at many, and your photos really stand above rest! You have a wonderful eye and have done a fantastic job of translating the beauty of the area to still imagery. Thank you so much!

such beautiful pics, but i was wondering why you did'nt make them linkable with jpgs or gifs, would be beautiful to put in sig box to make an email page. could you do that? and let me know when and if you might do that?

I was looking on the Internet in hopes of showing some friends the beauty of the Lake Shasta area. I am grateful to have found your postings. Beautiful photography! Beautiful country.
