Evening missile launch in Central California

A missile launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base in the nighttime sky.
The unusual colors are due to the sun just having set, still illuminating the smoke and debris.

the kids really like to watch this and if you can send times of launch it it would be nice to sit and watch the sky lite up

We saw this low in the sky from Benson, Arizona east of Tucson and thought it was something local like a police helicopter hovering over Benson, until we realized it stayed fixed in the sky for a few minutes as we drove toward Tucson, and later saw it in the news.
