I have great memories of the 2 times I trained at Cape D, first w/ the 44-footer, and then w/ the 47-footer. The feeling of squaring up to a breaker of that size is beyond words, like at the top of the first drop on a roller-coaster. Outstanding boat!

What an absolutely phenominal series of shots (nearly as wonderful as the fact no one was hurt or killed!). Makes me proud to own an FZ-50! Having said that I am not sure I would have got the shots . . .probably would have been standing watching in awe! A few years ago I was out in weather no where near as bad as that with my FZ-10. The mist in the air was incredible and no matter how hard I tried it was near impossible to keep the camera lens dry or clean so I have a small appreciation of what you were going through. Wonderful job thanks for sharing . . . saw your post in DPReview.
