Wall Drug started as a small store in 1909 and was purchased by Ted Hustead in 1931. Sales in 1931 were $300 a month. The store expanded over the years to cover three quarters of a block and now has 76,000 square feet of selling space. Yearly sales are now over $5.5 million.
