Savuti

Savuti Camp is sited on the transient Savuti channel, which is currently wet ...
although will probably dry out within 4 to 5 years.
There were even better sightings here (all safaris by landrover) than in the Okavango.
The leopard in the tree had an impala kill nearby.
The hunting dogs were underneath hoping for some bits to drop down....
and then a family of elephants took exception to the dogs and charged at them several times.
The dogs largely ingnored the elephants and just skipped out of the way!

However, despite going out (to areas of recent digging activity) on a 2am drive, we failed to see any aardvarks, although we did see several african wildcats.
