These are some pix from a trip to the North Island of New Zealand in February (summer).
The North and South Islands of New Zealand are almost like different countries
This was more of a scenic holiday with "Evergreen" .
The main wildlife consisted of dolphins (lots of them), gulls (lots of them) and a few other rarer species like the brown teal and unique Jurassic tuatara. Unfortunately these were out and about at dusk, so photo quality isn't too good.
The weather was unusually wet and cloudy, which you can see from the pix!
