Konya

Another cloudy, drizzly day!
Konya has been totally rebuilt since the earthquake of 2004.
Photography was only allowed in part of the museum/mausoleum of Mavlana Celaleddin Rumi
(the original whirling dervish).
This was the only part of Turkey that I visited where alcohol was not readily available...
It was on sale at the local market, but most of the hotels were entirely dry....
