The two days at Gallipoli and Troy were both wet and very cold.
The biting North wind was uncomfortably cold even wearing a jersey, a summer fleece and a plastic rain mac.
Worse stil, now we were away from Istanbul, the hotels we stayed at only served draught beer during the summer months, so we had to survive on bottled or canned, which I don't personally think taste anything like as good.
