Cobh

Cobh (Cove) formerly Queenstown was the last port of call of RMS Titanic...
although she didn't actually dock in the harbour.

It was also where many survivors and bodies from the RMS Lusitania were brought in 1915.

I spent a sunny morning there...
and more by luck than judgement
saw the end of the 102nd anniversary memorial parade commemorating the Lusitania's sinking
